Phenibut for Social Anxiety
Ever experienced anxiety or have a difficulty getting motivated, been nervous in social situations or find it hard to get into the right frame of mind?
This is just human nature, we all experience it from time to time.
You want to change, but you don’t know how. You want to break out of the never-ending hamster wheel that your mind puts you through on a regular basis. If only there was that something that could push you over the edge so you could start living the life you truly want.
If you’re reading this guide right now, that automatically puts you in the top 10%. These are issues most people have but never deal with (they just take it as a part of life and continue to suffer). You took it upon yourself to at the very least see if there is something better out there if living a higher quality of life was even possible.
I have good news for you- not only is escaping social anxiety possible, it’s easily attainable-if you have the right tool.
Don’t drink Alcohol? That’s ok, I got something better.
It’s called Phenibut.
What exactly is Phenibut?
Phenibut is a game-changer. This is something that I rarely tell people about because they simply don’t believe that there is a hack that dramatically improves the quality of their lives. Besides, Phenibut would be totally wasted on them anyway, but not you (if you use this wisely of course).
How Phenibut (beta-phenyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid [phenyl gaba]) works is that it is a GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) agonist that like alcohol and benzodiazepines passes through the blood-brain barrier and binds primarily to the GABA-B receptors inside the brain. What makes Phenibut different however is that has fewer side effects due to it binding more with GABA-B receptors than GABA-A (in other words, like alcohol, but without the “sloppiness”)
Phenibut is a nootropic created in the Soviet Union in the 1960s, to ease anxiety and lower stress levels of Russian cosmonauts as they travel into space. While conventional tranquilizers at the time lowered stress levels as well, they also made the users drowsy. It should go without saying that you don’t want a drowsy cosmonaut floating around in space! This is where Phenibut comes in-not only did it lower the anxiety of the Russian cosmonauts, but it didn’t hamper their performance.
Now if you’re thinking “So what? I’ll never need to fly a spacecraft”, then I can assure you that the benefits of Phenibut will translate to whatever you desire right now.
Got a presentation at school/work that you have to give, but are nervous about? Take some Phenibut.
Pretty girl caught your eye, but you can’t work up the courage to ask her out? Take some Phenibut.
Got nothing going on today, but you just want that broken-free-of-the-matrix feeling? Take some Phenibut.
Now, of course, you don’t have to take Phenibut. You can continue living the life that you always had, and wish upon a star that things will improve, but I know that if you are reading this you don’t buy that anymore. Besides, why wouldn’t you take advantage of any shortcut to get ahead? Especially if you have this guide to lay everything out for you. You owe it to yourself to give it a fair shake.
Based on my own experience using Phenibut, I’m going to walk you through the basics of using it in this article which I hope will alleviate most of the concerns you may have about using this magnificent nootropic.
Are there risks to Phenibut?
This is probably the most pressing concern to using this nootropic. Let me try to put your mind at rest on this one.
I’m happy to tell you that the risks of being addicted to Phenibut are actually less than that of alcohol. In my time of using this nootropic, I have gone from using it a couple times per week and going over a month without feeling the slightest urge to take it again. At this point, I am only taking it socially.
I have also not felt any “sloppiness” or hangover effects like you might experience with alcohol, or any jittery effects like you would with caffeine. In fact, I’ve found that phenibut works surprising well with an energy drink since they have a synergistic effect (caffeine jitters totally crushed by Phenibut).
However, I feel I should tell you that your tolerance to Phenibut will increase dramatically if you take too much of it or use it too frequently (more on that in the next section). Fortunately, in my experience, this was the only downside I have experienced when using Phenibut. If you follow the advice in this article, however, you won’t make the same mistakes I did, and this downside won’t even be an issue for you.
How to take Phenibut
If you wish to get the best benefits out of Phenibut, it is imperative that you do it the right way. Please be responsible- no mega dosing every day!
As far as how much you should dose with, it is dependent on your experience with the nootropic. If it’s your first time, I would recommend you only try 1 gram. You absolutely want to be able to measure exactly what the effects it has on you early on so you can continue to take it responsibly in the future. Once you have tried it at this dose a couple of times, then you can move on to 2-3 grams. Don’t take more than 3 grams in a 24-hour span- you won’t need to anyway.
Just as important as how much you should take it is what time of the day. For this, you need to evaluate the purpose that you’re using this drug.
If you’re going out socialising, for instance, you shouldn’t take Phenibut immediately before you leave like you would if you’re pre-gaming with alcohol. By the time it starts working, you’ll be asleep (it’ll be the best sleep you ever had!)
It generally takes around 5 hours for the Phenibut to be in full effect, but you should see the first effects within two hours. I find that it is helpful for splitting the dosage in half. For instance, if 3 grams is the best dosage, and you’re going to be at a party at 10 pm, take 1.5 grams at 3 pm and 1.5 grams at 5 pm. (Phenibut powder)
Spend that time socialising so you can be in a really social mood before you go! It’s also best if you can take it at least 2 hours after eating (it did almost nothing for me when I took it with food).
One last thing you should consider the frequency of using Phenibut. You certainly shouldn’t take it more than twice a week. Once per week was the rate that I found worked best for me. In fact, once per week is probably your best bet when you’re first trying it out- you don’t want to take it too frequently or it will lose its magic.
After a couple months, you can consider using it twice a week, but no more than that!
Effects of Phenibut
Everyone’s experience with phenibut will be slightly different, but this is typically what you expect:
Music sounds amazing! Nothing gets you pumped up quite like listening to music on this.
Increase in motivation. You will not want to just lay around when you take this. If you’ve made goals that you’ve never really put the effort into achieving, this will force you to go after them.
A moderate increase in euphoria. Pretty near impossible to be worried about anything on this. Useful if you have mild depression
A significant decrease in anxiety. Useful before a date, or if you have a career in sales.
A significant increase in pro-social behavior. Simply put, you won’t want to be cooped up in your room after taking this!
Deep sleep. I sometimes suffer from insomnia. The very first time I took this I misjudged how long it would take to kick in and fell asleep with it in full effect. Got 14 quality hours’ worth!
Puts you in an incredible “state”. Think Bradley Cooper in Limitless.
Phenibut Social Anxiety Account (Erowid user)
I typically took Phenibut before going out socially. Two years ago, I could barely talk to girls in these kinds of settings. I would just stand there like a dweeb with my water (since I rarely drink) waiting for my friends to introduce me to a beautiful girl that I would be shaking at the thought of walking over to and introducing myself to her.
Usually, when they did introduce me to her, any interest she might have had for me evaporated almost immediately. See, women love a man with confidence, and when she has to go out of her way to meet a nervous guy when there are more confident men around her-well, it just doesn’t leave a good impression on her.
I knew I had to change but I didn’t know how. I really wanted to be more confident but I didn’t know how. I searched far and wide. “Please, PLEASE, give me something that could fix this problem for me.” And then I stumbled across Phenibut. It seemed like it was the perfect fix for my problem.
The next party I got a chance to try it, those jitters totally faded away. I no longer had any fear to make the first move. And as I continued to use this, I established habits that stuck with me even when I wasn’t using Phenibut. Learning to approach girls with this aid gave me the confidence to do it without any help.
Before long, I no longer even needed the stuff anymore, being confident was just who I am! Now I’m not saying this will automatically fix all your problems- you will still have to put in the work- but it will give you that little extra push to keep things moving.
Where to get Phenibut?
The beauty of phenibut is that it is dirt cheap. For 50 grams worth, it will only cost you 20, maybe 25 dollars. If you limit your consumption to 3 grams in a day, this will work out to only $1-2 each day you use it. If you don’t have a lot of money to spend (college kids listen up), you will spend $1-2 to get in a better state than $20+ of drinks will get you. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a much better deal to me!
You don’t need a prescription to purchase Phenibut, at least not in the United States. In fact, Phenibut can be brought on the internet (if you know where to go). You don’t want to buy from a bad source either, which is why I recommend you get Phenibut from NootropicsDepot.
I have used this source to great satisfaction and have found this to be the best source for Phenibut on the market today (I take great care in recommending the absolute best based off of my experience. For what it’s worth, you really can’t find a better vendor than here.
Other Social Anxiety Nootropics
From the Nootropics Mind Map, below are a selection of Nootropics that are know to have anti-anxiety benefits (with links to other articles I have written that you may find of interest):
I just want to reiterate that this isn’t some magic pill that will fix your problems instantly. Change happens progressively over time and it’s on you to make that change. However, if you need just a little extra push to get over the edge, Phenibut will be a godsend for you.
I’m sure it will transform your life in a positive way. This is why I highly recommend Phenibut to you guys. I don’t want you being a prisoner of your own mind, you deserve to break free. If what you’ve been doing hasn’t been working, why would you try something new?
Give Phenibut a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
